Based off of a dream I had with Eridan.
this is the part where I explain what came to this picture, and everyone just stops reading.

^{It all started with Eridan on Earth. He had his own apartment, a job, and somewhat of a social life. A random guy went to his apartment, drug him by his hair to the bathroom and proceeded to beat the shit out of him mercilessly.
For the life of me I can’t remember what it was for, but I remember mentally freaking out.
He had his face smashes through a mirror, shoved under a tub full of scorching hot water, ect, and he didn’t do a thing about it. Eridan was taking the beating as if it was nothing new to him. Afterwards when the guy just left him bleeding on the floor from the damage, he just crawled his way to sit on his toilet [the closest thing that was not broken] wiped off his glasses off, put them back on, and tried to be reassuring to himself that he was a good person [HINT HINT I'M A PRINCE AND I LIVE IN A SHIP] while cleaning off the blood and using paint to cover the wounds. I think he even had one blind eye from previous events.
At his work [a video store] people just treated him like shit, and all he did was answer questions and did what he was told; though it was obvious he was not happy from his facial expression.}

Since that dream I wanted to draw him crying.
